The Protector AR-2 detects Combustibles (LEL) and Carbon Monoxide (CO).

The Protector AR Series gas detectors are designed to provide you with maximum protection at all times regardless of the environment. These units may be equipped to detect combustible gases, carbon monoxide, oxygen content, and hydrogen sulfide. Each Protector AR Series instrument provides specific detection capabilities based on selected sensor options (refer to "products" section for the product your company requires). If your requirements change, U-TECK can add additional sensor capabilities.

All Protector AR Series instruments incorporate an advanced, low-power semiconductor sensor to measure combustible gases in LEL (Lower Explosive Level) range. LED's located on the front of the instrument indicate preset visual warnings of increased gas concentration. All gases are continuously sampled with the use of an internal pump. Audible and visual alarms warn the operator of hazardous conditions being sensed. The preset alarms are indicated by a red, flashing LED display indicator and sound alarm at 10% LEL.

The combustible gas alarm is preset to show 5%, 10% and 50% LEL of methane and 50% ppm carbon monoxide (CO).

The Protector AR Series gas detectors are designed to meet U.S., Canadian, and European intrinsic safety requirements for Class 1, and Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous environments.

This Protector AR Kit includes a Protector AR unit of your choice, hard carrying case, bump gas, and a 29" 3-piece probe.

Wireless, infrared communication to record and save your events. Each Protector AR Series instrument is equipped with an infrared LED on its side to allow it to download calibration data and readings the operator has selected to save to the Protector's on-board memory. This information can then be downloaded to an optional printer. You may want to keep readings of contaminated holes for your permanent record.
